Just for poops and giggles I filled out the form, sorta. I didn't answer any of the essay questions though I really wanted to snark out. I don't think I have much of a chance of getting hired as I agreed with more immigration, national health care, and believing in more that two genders. But hope springs eternal.
Not sure what to say to people that support trump that I know. He has a large enough tent where economic issues are number one and people believe he will make them better off. There is evidence that says otherwise. Regardless the troublesome part is they are willing to look past everything else they believe in (gun control, women’s rights, separation of church and state, and more) for their taxes.
Rick, that sounds like a really great open door to talk about the ways Trump's policies will fail us financially. Sorry if you don't have a Washington Post subscription, but I found this article about Trump's immigration policies harming small businesses informative:
And here's an article about Trump's economic policies leave out specifics (in other words, it's easy to say he'll improve the economy. Make them explain how and they won't be able to).
We need to remember that Trump will throw anyone and everyone under the bus if it suits him (maybe... maybe... except for his daughter.)
And with the pardon of ALL the January 6th insurrectionists, even the violent offenders (about 2000 of them) Trump now has a Coalition of the Willing - His own Toy Militia. They'll probably lay their lives down for him. Well played, Donnie.
