Project 2025 Takedown: Now With Graphics!
I was a photographer for 10 years, a journalist before that, and now I work in political messaging. Out of all of the ways to spread the word about something, graphics are my favorite. When done right, they’re quick, digestible, and tell people where to go if they want to dig deeper.
Andra Watts’ Substack How Project 2025 Will Ruin Your Life is a must read. So when she suggested memes should be all over the internet describing the dangers of Project 2025, I decided to take a crack at it. Presenting my new project, TRUMP’S PROJECT 2025.
It’s critical in the last 36 days of this election that we saturate the internet with warnings about all the ways Project 2025 will screw us over, so feel free to share these graphics prolifically. How do you do that? I learned you can’t easily save an image from a Substack post, but you can save one from the Notes section of Substack, so I’ll be sharing these there as well. From Notes, click on the image and three dots will appear at the top-right of the screen. Hit SAVE and it will be located in your camera roll. Head to your favorite social media app and upload it there.
Admittedly I have no idea how it works in email, which is where most of you are reading from. Let’s experiment with this together!
