I am a pro-life Christian and am voting for Kamala Harris.
Because being pro-life is about more than abortion. During the Trump administration, thousands of children were separated from their parents by our government, some of whom died in government custody of preventable diseases brought on by lack of sanitation and many of whom still haven’t been reunited years later. How is that pro-life?
How is allowing insurance companies to deny poor families health insurance pro-life?
How is the death penalty, with which we’ve seen innocent people be killed under, pro-life?
How is siding with the gun lobby when children die in their classrooms pro-life?
How is allowing employers to deny contraception pro-life?
How is eliminating school lunch programs — sometimes the only meal a child gets to eat — pro-life?
How is denying women life-saving medical care in cases of medical risk?
How is Trump, who has refused to accept refugees claiming political asylum because they come from “sh*thole countries” (his words) pro-life?
How is refusing to do something about climate change while massive weather events like wildfires and hurricanes grow more dangerous pro-life?
How is allowing guns to become the No. 1 killer of children in the United States pro-life?
When Republicans begin looking at the whole life, from birth to natural death, I might take their “pro-life” label seriously again. As it is, I don’t understand the stance that we only support life when it is in utero, so I will be voting for the true pro-life party, the party that makes policies that support life after birth — Democrats.
Exceptionally crafted post Tiffany, time to bring truth to this election is nearing an end. Thanks for sharing this!!
Thank you for taking a stand.
